Withdrawal of 10- and 20-heller coins

Under Decree of the Czech National Bank No. 79/2003 Coll., the 1993-version 10-heller and 20-heller coins ceased to be legal tender on 31 October 2003.

It was possible to exchange invalid 10-heller and 20-heller coins in commercial banks rendering cash services until the end of October 2004. Invalid coins were exchanged at branches of the CNB in seven cities of the Czech Republic until the end of October 2009.

It is currently no longer possible to exchange invalid 10-heller and 20-heller coins.
