Personnel changes in the management of the CNB’s organisational units
At its meeting on 30 May 2024, the Bank Board appointed Vladislav Jetenský as director of the Prague branch of the Cash and Payments Department. He will replace Tomáš Milich, who died in April this year. Pavel Zeman will become the new executive director of the Internal Audit Department. The changes will take effect on 1 June 2024.
Vladislav Jetenský graduated in finance from the Prague University of Economics and Business. He worked at the CNB as banking supervision inspector in 2001–2003 and then in ING as senior auditor, head of internal audit for the Czech Republic and Slovakia and head of the financial controlling team. He returned to the CNB in 2017 and held the post of director of the Capital Market Supervision and Control Division of the Financial Market Supervision Department II. He has been executive director of the Internal Audit Department since 2021.
Pavel Zeman graduated in law from Charles University in Prague. He worked in Plzeň after his studies, first at the District Public Prosecutor’s Office (until 2001) and then at the Regional Public Prosecutor’s Office (until 2002). Starting in 2002, he worked at the Prosecutor General’s Office in Brno as prosecutor in the International Affairs Department (2002–2004), he was Eurojust national member for the Czech Republic (2004–2010), Prosecutor General (2011–2021) and prosecutor in the Analytical and Legislative Department (2021–2024). In his work, he specialises in, among other things, the criminal liability of legal entities, especially the introduction of effective compliance systems. He currently works as adviser to the Governor.
