Basel Consultative Group Workshop
On 26 August 2013 the Czech National Bank organised the Basel Consultative Group Workshop on “The impact of Basel III implementation on emerging market and smaller economies (EMSEs)”, which focused on summarising the major intended and unintended consequences of the implementation of the international regulatory framework for banks (Basel III) for emerging and smaller economies. This workshop headed by CNB Vice-Governor Vladimír Tomšík will develop a guidance document for supervisors and for the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision which sets global standards for bank regulation.
