Lessons and Challenges in Transition: Seminar, September 22, 2000, Prague
The Czech National Bank and the Office of the Authorised Representative of the Czech Government for the IMF/WBG Annual Meetings, in collaboration with the Czech Economic Society, organised on 22 September 2000 on the occasion of the Annual Meetings a seminar on "Lessons and Challenges in Transition". Five prominent academics - Marek Belka, Lajos Bokros, Evžen Kočenda, Lubomír Mlčoch and Joseph Stiglitz - accepted the invitation to this seminar.
Jan Švejnar presided over the seminar and the subsequent panel discussion.
